where is the air pump/compressor located?

I recently purchased a used Aurora & want to change the rear shocks because it does not rise when I have passengers in the rear. I just wanted to know where is the air pump/compressor is located and what would be the best replacement for the shocks?

you can replace the air ones with ones that are not air and have but I forget the name of the company that makes them. the compressor is below right rear of vehicle.
