Temperature gauge not working?

Temperature gauge reads cold does not move. On dash it says A/C off due to engine temperature for 3 days. Reservoir was at fill line now it's over fill line. Car starts and drives. Upper hose hot and reservoir hose hot.

Hi,

Chances are the temperature sensor is bad and therefore, the system, not knowing the temp, assumes it is overheating.

That is the first thing I suspect is the problem. However, make sure it isn't disconnected first and inspect the wiring to it as well as the connector.

If you look at the attachments below, they are specific to your vehicle and the picture shows the location of the sensor.
