I received it just like this:
No battery.
No glove box.
No A/C compressor.
Lots of plugged vacuum lines under hood.
All or most engine cover plastics in trunk.
A/t shift boot partially removed.
I am assuming shift linkage is unattached as car was pushed to my house.
Issue as follows:
Installer battery-- all lights work.
That is pretty much it.
Key turns free. Shifter will not budge. No clicks no buzz nothing.
Owner says he shorted something out about a year ago. He cannot remember why or where.
Thinks he was installing stereo or replacing A/C.
Asked him to stop using fuel as performance enhancer on himself and would see what I can do.

Please also note, that I did just figure out that any key will turn this ignition and the new key does not have a transponder in it. could it be just stuck in security mode?

This was the starting running perfectly fine vehicle until a tweaker got a hold of it and decided that he would start cleaning contact connections because he was bored. he even changed all the power windows to having manual cranks if they only use that brain power for something positive. huh!
