Feels like car wants to not stop are my front brake bad??

Hello, I'm Danny.

Its possible your brakes don't feel firm or responsive due to excessive wear of the brake pads causing the brake fluid level to drop in the brake master cylinder and not feeling firm or stopping right. Here is a tutorial showing how to replace the brake pads and rotors:
