When I start my truck it runs fine until the oil comes up to running temperature. Then I experience a periodic hard engine shake (every 5-20 seconds) with a slip of power and air sputter noise out the muffler. This has all happened immediately after an oil change. I also sprayed the drive belt with conditioner and hose off my underbody with water to clean any spilled oil.

AND OF COURSE,

IF SOMEONE ELSE DID THE OIL CHANGE, YOU IMMEDIATELY PULLED THE STICK TO INSURE ALL WAS GOOD?

HAVE YOU CHECKED THE OIL LEVEL WITH THIS ISSUE NOW GOING ON?

As far as the oil, all seems good. Level good, no leaks. The more research I do the more it sounds like a problem with the distributor.

Yes, but it's been on (O2 sensor) for 5-6 months. Check it for new errors?
