I braked hard and the front drivers side wheel has moved backwards.

Hi,

This vehicle isn't offered in the US, but I'll try my best to help.

When you say the wheel moved backward, do you mean it now is sitting further back? In other words, it isn't centered with the fender? If that is the case, safely lift that wheel off the ground and see if you find play in it.

There are control arms on the vehicle that may have broken or come loose. Or, you may have a ball joint that failed.
