Wheel hub /axle the steering wheel is jerking grinding?

Where what I believe is the axle goes into the inside of the wheel hub assembly the mount where the axle goes into the wheel hub assembly the metal is being shaved away and the wheel is jerking grinding.

Yep, the bearing hub is going bad. I would recommend watching this video so you can change them out, I would do both sides, the job is not that bad to do, and you can save money by doing it yourself. Also, I would not drive the car until the repairs are made.
