Was going to order upper and lower ball joints for my SUV on Amazon. I put in my car information and then the question of wheelbase size came up.
How can I tell if my Vehicle is 111.5 or 117.5? Would the VIN number tell me?
And would it make a difference in the ball joints that I would be ordering?

I use the Rock Auto web site for reference. There are different parts depending on two or four-wheel-drive, but no mention is made of wheel base. Some parts do vary depending on wheel base, which is why Amazon asks for that information. The wheel base is not the reason the parts are different. The differing wheel base is just part of a package that included some different parts. Asking for the wheel base is just easier than trying to have you figure out other, more difficult things to determine.
