The lugs stripped out on the back side of the wheel hub assembly. What is the trick to removing the wheel to replace the assembly?

Good afternoon,
The post is confusing. What is stripped? The lug nuts or the bolts holding the hub attached to the spindle?
Can you post a picture of what you see?

The lugs themselves where they are pressed into the hub. I cannot pull the wheel off because when I put the socket on the hole thing spins. It is sitting in the shop work and I am two counties over. I will get a picture when I get back.

Okay, then you have to cut off the lug nuts.
You can either burn them off or use a hole saw and drill them off. It will take a while either way. Then you need to replace the studs and nuts on the hub.
