Hey, I am replacing my wheel bearing. Axel nut is spinning the bearing when I try to remove it. I want to put the tire back one and lower it to prevent spinning. Can I do this without replacing the whole brake system?

Okay, so you are trying to remove the axle nut. You can break it loose by setting it on the ground , but do not tighten it to the torque spec in the same way.

I take it you have already removed all the brake parts? If that is the case just slip the brake rotor on and put a screwdriver or bar into the vents and use it to stop the spinning.
