How long can I drive my car with a bad wheel bearing?

I bought the car listed above last year when I was 18. Ever since i’ve had it it has made a loud helicopter noise in the back. I didn’t know that it was the wheel bearing and Google says it doesn’t last long before failing, but I have been driving it like that for a year. I’m confused! How much longer can I go?

You should resolve the noise within a short period of time. If you do not, then you could cause other damage to the hub requiring replacement.
