I was driving in the very, very heavy rain yesterday. And all of a sudden, my truck just stopped, and I had to push it off the road when I tried to crank it back up. It's like the battery's dead but the lights and windows and everything is working perfectly fine. I tried to put the jump box on it and it crunk up one time and then turn back off. And it also turns off the jump box and makes the light with the triangle and! In it starts blinking red. I also smell somewhat of a wire burning when we try to crank it. Also, the Cadillac converter had been stopping up but it was running fine before it cut off.

It sounds like the battery has shorted out internally which will cause this problem, I would remove the battery and take it to the auto parts store for load testing. Was the rain so heavy that the engine could have got flooded? Here is how to remove the battery. Can you please shoot a quick video with your phone so I can hear the noise? That way I can tell for sure what's going on. If the engine is full of water, it will lock it up, to check for this remove all of the spark plugs and try cranking the engine over, (stand back when cranking because it might shoot water out of it.) Check out the images (below). Please upload pictures or videos in your response of any problems so we can see what to help you with.
