Cranks not start after replacing battery

First the brake and battery light came on replaced the alternator (used), bought a new battery ran for 3 days. and now it just cranks but no start. so took it to the shop now the mechanic is saying the security light will not go off and he can't start it.

Okay, so in the diagrams down below I have included what the vehicle manufacturer says to do when this situation arises.
