What would the codes be for idle surges, engine light on, overheating?
Fan can come on when a good temperature outside. I live in a cold region. Wyoming. I hear blower motor and click sound when I move know to different settings. Antifreeze and oil at good level. Overheats after certain temperature has been reached. Idle surge in engine and dash lights of engine and maintenance, TCL light also on all the time. I need good answers for I am DIY. I'm not a mechanic, but mechanical inclined. I am a woman and don't know anyone yet here where I live now.

Hello, I'm Danny.

Well, first and foremost this means you have trouble codes (check engine light) stored in your vehicles computer. A rough idle is usually a sign of the idle air control valve. First thing I suggest is to have the code(s) checked. If you don't have access to a scanner/code reader your local auto parts stores have a tool loaner program and can rent you one. Here is a tutorial showing what is involved:

After having the codes read please get back to us with the code numbers and we will be happy to help properly diagnose your vehicle. Hope this helps and thanks for using 2CarPros.
