Hi, I need some help to decide weather to purchase a 2000 Dodge Ram 1500 Magnum or a 2003 Dodge Ram 1500 small engine. They are around the same price, the 2000 has 109,000 miles and it is really clean. The tires do need to be replaced. The 2003 belongs to a friend it had overheating problems, but the radiator and water pump were replaced. The tires and brakes are new, it has 125,000 miles.

I suggest you taking the trucks to a local professional mechanic so he/she can check out both of the trucks from top to bottom. Make sure to tell the mechanic how you are going to be using the truck. That way you had a professional look and listen to the trucks and explain anything he/she finds.
