When trying to replace my water pump I ran into a little problem with my fan I do not know how to remove it. It has some screws in the back but that just removed the blades the shaft is still on and all I can see is some sort of spiral something at the end of it. Please help. Thanks

the fan is bolted to the water pump by the big nut in the center. i use a airhammer to loosen the nut, if you dont have one you can probably borrow the special tool from the parts store to hold the pump and loosen the nut.
