I did all my research on how to replace the part at home, but when I turn on my car the idle is still rough and it takes longer than usual to get up to speed. It is much better than how it was before I fixed it, but I'm wondering if it's a faulty part or if the computer just needs time to figure itself out?

Good morning,

I would check the compression to be sure the timing belt has not moved. If it has, it will set a cam sensor code. You should have 140-160 pounds of compression.

I also attached some guides for low power and rough running.
