Hi guys,

I´m struggling with the ABS panel light. I don't know if the cause is one of the ABS sensors (wheel) or the ABS central.

The car has an ODB2 plug, but any scanner works on it. Just recognize but do not inform anything.

Can you help me, please?

Many thanks.

There is no scanner, you use a voltage meter and watch the needle sweeps. Here are the instructions on how to get the ABS codes in the images below. Check out the diagrams (below). Please let us know if you need anything else to get the problem fixed.

HI Ken,

Thank you. I´ll do this using a voltage meter. However, I haven't the meaning of each code (the DTC informed in the last images). Do you have them? Can you send them to me?

One more, thanks a lot.

Hi Ken,

The link you sent me doesn't show any ODB1 ABS trouble code. Is there another one?

My Montero is 1994 with a 3.5L engine.

Thanks
