What is this hose for?

Is this supposed to connect to anything? It goes from front and hook up on top of the transmission, not sure if it has to be connected to something else.

I can't see where it connects to the top of the transmission. This isn't something
from factory so someone add this on. I would guess this is a vent hose for the transmission. Every automatic transmission has some sort of vent or vent hose so it might not be an issue to leave it.
If you could show the other side of this hose I could give you a more definitive answer.

Hi,

That is a transmission breather hose. It should have a one-way valve at the end and not the 90-degree connector.

I attached a picture below of the part.

No problem whatsoever. It looks like someone used a ziptie to hold it in place as well.
