What is the wiring harness called inside the dash

I was told that why my heater is not working and why it blows my fuse for my lights inside the dash when I turn them on.

The dash wiring is called a harness just like rest. If it blows fuse for lights look for a something that was recently added it may be touching and worn through due to your mileage and age I would think more that the harness is worn through on dash light circuit going to heater and it moves causing the problem.

What would be causing my heater control panel not switching directions of flow? It was just working and I got it back from the shop and does not work.

Pull heater fuse inside truck with key on for sixty seconds it may reset the actuator. See picture. It is on driver's side by gas pedal. Also, check maybe it is unplugged. See picture.
