It’s driving me crazy. What is the easiest way to remove a drive belt and power steering belt on this vehicle? I cannot seem to get to the tensioner under the hood. I cannot reach the tensioner to loosen belt. Also does the power steering belt have a tensioner? What’s the easiest technique if you don’t have a lift?

Hi,

You have to remove the front wheel and inner fender to access it. Here are the directions. The attached pics correlate with the directions. The second set of directions are for the PS pump. You are going to either laugh when you see them or be really frustrated. You have to remove the headlamp assembly and the air box assembly. There is no tensioner. Take a look at the directions and let me know if you have questions.

Hello, I am Danny.

Just a quick question. What components are you looking for to be located in the engine compartment? I have attached a picture of the serpentine belt diagram and a tutorial showing how to replace it. Hope this helps and feel free to ask any questions if needed. Thanks for using 2CarPros.

Do you think you can post a larger photo of the last two so I can see it more closely? If that is okay?

My car is running but the serpentine belt is not turning and the A/C compressor went out. It is overheating.

If serpentine belt is not turning then everything else is not turning including your water pump. Need to find out why the belt is not turning, may be a seized up bearing or the A/C compressor may be seized up. First have to find out why the belt is not turning, check the tension-er for the belt.
