what is making my luia sephia run bad?

I drove about 30 miles or so when i got home i checked my oil and it was 1 quart low on oil so i drove over to the store and my car smelled strong of gas and started missing on the freeway home it was missing and the check engine light which is always on started blinking when i got home i put a quart of oil in it and now it is running better but it is still missing and the engine light is still blinking.

never,never allow the check engine light to stay on. it is telling you there is a problem and if you neglect it, it will compound issues
