What does CAN mean

I was looking up stuff for my car relay. On some stuff it says Saturn (CAN). What does the (CAN) mean?

if you are talking about electronically can means computer area network and it may mean that one module of the car is not talking to the other. so it does not work correctly a mechanic can find out which one with his scanner then try to fix it.
