My car is throwing off code P0015. Something to do with the cam shaft.
Can you tell me, please, what this means and what to do about it?
Thanks,
TEB

Hello,

This codes is thrown when the camshaft actuator (phaser) is not working correctly usually due to one of two things. The most popular is a failing camshaft actuator but I have also seen the oil control valve become clogged up due to lack of maintenance.

Here is a guide to show you how the system works:

Below are some guides to show you what you are in for when fixing this problem.

Please let us know what you find. We are interested to see what it is.

Cheers, Ken
