Rapid clicking noises when trying to start then the car loses power. Put a jumper box on the battery light comes back give me a couple crank until it finally starts. Most of the times the crank be a long crank to the point the car comes on then when u let go it shut off. Replace the battery. Work one day perfectly. But recently I turn the key to run and it makes a rapid clicking noise (different from when I turn the key to run). I also heard gas from the gas line going back into the tank when sitting quietly. Put cables on the battery even though it new the car start letting me crank it, but the crank is weak. Then the car finally works.

Can you please shoot a quick video with your phone so I can hear the noise? That way I can tell for sure what's going on. You can upload it here with your response. It sounds like the starter motor is bad and/or the positive battery cable needs to be replaced. Also, make sure the battery connection are clean and tight.

Here is a guide to help:

Here is the starter location and how to change the positive battery cable out as well. Unfortunately, the starter is under the intake manifold. :/ disconnect the battery before you begin. Check out the images (below). Please let us know what happens.

So in the video is the key in the crank position? I would check the ground cables as well. When you are cranking the engine, let's use a volt meter at the main power log of the alternator, it is easy to get to, have the leads on the lug while a helper cranking the engine over and take the reading, this will tell us if the problem is main voltage related.
