Wont crank over after water puddle

Engine Mechanical problem V8 Front Wheel Drive Automatic

Have a 96 aurora drove thru a big puddle which made my car stall out when I went to resrt my car it wouldnt restart alls it does it make a clicking noise thought that maybe its my starter but dont know where the starter is located would anyone happen to know what might be the issue?

Hi:
The starter is on the side of the engine that faces the radiator. Check to see if you are getting 12 volts to the smaller wire on the starter with the key in the start position. If you are, replace the starter or have it bench tested at a parts store.

No no no your starter is on top of engine under lower intake manifold. Take your car and put it on a scanner it's free.

It sounds like you hydrolocked the engine. I would remove all of the spark plugs to see if the engine turns over.
