I am pretty sure that the liftgate actuator has failed based on research. One thing I wanted to do is first rule out the fuses. I checked the two fuse locations, the one inside, and the one under the hood. I used the manual to find the correct fuses for the liftgate. They looked okay. I put them back in the panel in the same place.

Now when I try and start the vehicle, I get no power to the starter it seems. My dash lights come on. Haven't checked the battery
Yet it is fairly new. The starter was replaced about 6 months ago. Weird. Wondering what I have done LOL. Thanks much!

It sounds like the battery is weak even though you did replace it. To be sure this guide can help us load test the battery with no equipment or tools. Please send a video of what it is doing so we can fix it.

Well, the battery seems good. 12V on a multimeter.

When the starter was replaced, what brand was it? It sounds like it failed again, which is common with cheap rebuilds. I would check for power at the trigger wire (small wire) when in the crank position, or smack the starter in the crank position if you have power or the starter starts to work it is bad, I would get a AC Delco or Motorcraft unit. Here is how to change the starter out, instructions are in the diagrams below. Also use the guide above to help you test the trigger. Check out the diagrams (below). Please let us know what happens.

It was actually done at a Ford Dealer. I would assume they put in a decent starter.

Yes, they should of, but we still need to see if there is power at the trigger wire when in the crank position, even good parts can be defective. Please follow the guide above.
