On 6-21-22. I got in my truck to get to work, and after I put the key in, I tried to start the truck. When I turned the key all the way over all electronics shut off. I checked the vehicle info and the battery showed 12V, I tried to start it again and it dropped to 11V. I turned the key back over once again and the voltage went back to 12. What could the issue be?

Hi,

What this sounds like is a weak connection either at the battery or the starter itself. What I suggest is this. First, check the battery cables to make sure they are clean and tight. If they are, then I need you to perform a very basic load test on the battery.

Here are two links that explain what to do. Try these and let me know the results. Also, let me know if you hear a click from the starter when everything turns off.

Let me know what you find

Take care,
