In the morning the engine starts okay but stalls when hot. Have changed fuel pump, fuel filter and spark plugs, but no change. What could be the problem?

Hi,

When it stalls, can you start it immediately or do you have to wait? I ask because it may be related to a crankshaft position sensor starting to fail. When they start to fail, they are adversely affected by heat. Often, but not always, you need to wait for it to cool before it will run again.

Do me a favor. Take a look through this link and let me know if anything mirrors what you experience:

Let me know. Also, this model isn't offered in the US, so I don't have specifics. However, I will do my best to help. Let me know your thoughts on the link.

Take care,

Joe
