I have the car listed above, base model. I’m a 18 year old girl and I’m not much to know about cars, so I don’t really check the things that I most likely should. I was driving to work as soon as I was like around the corner or at least I think so my light turned on about the coolant being low. As soon as I parked, I turned the car off and I saw a little smoke coming out of the hood not too much that I was panicking. I left it as it was went inside had one of my coworkers look at it try to see what was wrong, I had no coolant. They drove me to O'Reilly auto parts and got 2 litters of the coolant after an hour and the temperature got to about 222 after we put in the coolant and let it run for a bit, we turned it off my dad came to pick up my car, I noticed that the coolant was leaking. My dad took the car made maybe a few miles when it started overheating again. My dad says that after it overheated, he turned it off and when he tried to turn it back on again it wouldn’t start.

I am sorry to hear about the car, if you overheat the engine too much it will ruin the engine. Can I ask if the engine crank over (starter) or the engine will not crank over at all? In the meantime, please go over this guide:
