Weird noise coming from the dashboard when turning the A/C on or off

My mom has the car listed above LTZ Limited. Every time she turns on/off the A/C there is a knocking noise coming from the passenger side of the dashboard.

This could be a blend door actuator but I would like to hear the noise before telling you to replace it.
