We put the key in the ignition and it will not turn at all

We just bought this vehicle and it started one time but since then we have tried for over a day and it is still locked up. Does it have anything to do with the anti theft mechanism?

Hello, I am Danny.

Sounds like you are having trouble with the ignition switch. Normally the key would be able to cycle even if there was a problem with the anti-theft (Pass Key) it is just after cycling the switch the vehicle would not start if it had anti-theft issues. I have attached a tutorial for you to view regarding the ignition switch. Hope this helps and let me know if you have any further questions.
