My car which has a digital heads up speedometer display stops working occasionally and the transmission then will not shift out of second gear.
I have had the speedometer sensor replaced from the transmission and it worked for a short period but has reverted to the same situation as before.
Is there another sensor or fuse etc., that could be causing this?

Hello,

It sounds like you have an instrument cluster that is going out which will affect the transmission shifting as well. But to be sure lets run some checks.

Here is a guide and some instrument cluster wiring diagrams (below) so we can get the car fixed:

Please let us know what happens.
