I know it's complicated, so we really need diagrams and directions.

Hi,

It really isn't too hard if you have the proper tools. You will need a camshaft alignment tool. This is required to place the engine back into the correct time.

There are several steps. Here is what I did. You need to remove the timing belt covers and timing belt, so I started the directions with that process. (Pics 1-7). Once the belt is removed, then you can replace the pump. (Pics 8-10).

The belt directions include removal and replacement. It is important that you take your time to ensure the timing is correct. Also, in many cases, a parts store will lend you the alignment tool.

To get to the point of removing the belt requires draining the coolant and removal of the serpentine belt. If you need help with either of those, let me know.

Take care and let me know if I can help in any way.

Joe
