Water pump leaking?

I needed the tear down and specs info on changing the water pump and timing system where water pump is tied in with timing.

Hi,

This should be a simple job, but they have made it a nightmare. LOL I have no idea who designs these.

You will need camshaft holders. Make sure the timing is correct before removing the chains.

Take a look through the directions below. They include replacing the water pump and then retiming the engine. Make sure to keep things clean and prevent coolant from leaking down the front of the engine into the oil pan.

How will I know this is at top dead center on this module and do we got step by step on removing phasers and putting them in?

Hi,

Make sure the two cam timing marks are aligned as shown in pic 3. And yes, follow the steps one at a time.
