Coolant leaking from back of engine

Would a leaking water pump leak coolant from the back of the engine?

Where that pump is located it shouldn't but it would depend on how it was leaking. For that leak I would suspect the coolant bypass pipe and it's seals and gaskets first as it runs through there.
