Water pump

I am putting a water pump on. Can't get the water pump out with the special tool. I tried to heat it up still not working. When I put the special tool on it does not seem to fit right like it is loose. What else can I do to try to get it out.

are you turning it clockwise to remove? try spraying penetrating oil around it, heat a little then tap with a SMALL hammer all around if you can to work the oil in repeat a couple of times then try to remove. the o ring may be holding it up.
