Water pump, how long should it take to replace it?

How long should it take to change and what are the labor cost?

Hi,

As far as the amount of time, flat rate calls for 5.9 hours. So, nearly 6 hours labor. If you look at pic 1 below, I attached that information. The price indicated for the pump is high because it is for an OEM part, which you will likely not find. You will need one that is aftermarket.

The reason the labor takes so long is because you need to take a lot more apart than for a traditional pump. I attached the directions below. Take a look through them and let me know if you are comfortable performing them. Also, let me know if you have other questions.
