What happened was the water pump went out, so the serpentine shredded somehow, and gut stuck under the cooling fan clutch and cut some wires the fan wires, the cam position sensor wires. the MAF sensor wires were okay, so we used a water pump out of a 2004 Ford F150 with a 5.4L. the water pump fit, but the electric fan clutch didn't so we used the fan that was on the water pump. It's not an electric one, it's a free spinning one, it goes faster when you step on the gas. The truck hasn't overheated or anything, but we can only go like 40 miles an hour and the RPMs are running high. So, I'm hoping you can tell me what my problem is. I wired all the wires back and everything just seems like the fan is the reason it won't go any faster.
