water pump?

I had my water pump replaced twice in 2 years. because I noticed the overflow tank kept going down, slowly, I keep adding to it, My guy that replaced it didnt use the sealant I bought when he put the cover back on, we looked at the cover after taking the fan belt off and it appears the cover is slightly wet. Hes going to fix it when he can get to it again for nothing but maybe you can shed some light on it, thank you

That he didn't install it properly? We can't know what he did or didn't do.

The verdict would be that you need to find a more competent shop. I can't tell you much more about your situation than that. We don't know what he messed up.
