Water pump

There is a rattling under my hood, usually worse when cold temperatures, gets louder periodically while driving. It will kick on and off if idle long period. Possible water pump replacement?

It sure sounds like it is the water pump, but it could be a timing chain as well. I can tell right away if you can make a quick video with your phone and upload it here.

Then I can give you instructions on what to fix.
