trying to replace the water pump?

4.0L • AUTOMATIC

I am trying to replace the water pump, but to access it, I have to remove the fan clutch. I am not sure whether to turn clockwise or counterclockwise to break the nut loose.

The fan pulley is smooth, NOT grooved
The arrow direction on the fan clutch is CCW
