Water mixing with oil

There is water in the oil pan, but no water present on oil stick or in reservoir.

Hi,

When you say there is water in the oil pan are you finding this by draining the oil or did you remove the oil pan?

Sometimes there will not be oil on the dipstick if it is in the beginning stages of leaking. Also, just because you have coolant in the oil does not mean you are going to have oil in the coolant.

The cooling system and oil lubrication system are separate and you should never have them mixed. When you do, it is the sign of an issue.
