the radiator, thermostate, and resevouir is brand new. The car isn't running hot. After I fill up the resevouir and the car has been running for a while, after i shut it off it leaks and I have to refill the resevouir again, what causes this?

It's a small rectangular plug/vaccum next to the Transmission pan.

It sounds like some kind of heater control valve but it needs to be inspected by a technician to be sure.
Maybe you can take a close-up photo and post it here.
