Water in oil

Truck shut down while I was driving a few days ago. I smelt coolant it shorted out my starter. so I replaced the starter thinking that was it. now it starts but engine is knocking. checked oil and it looks like coffee with creamer in it and coolant reservoir is empty.

Sounds like the head gasket is bad. When oil and coolant mix, it looks like what you described. This guide can help us fix it
