Water getting into the carburetor from the reed valves

My mazda b2000 have water inside the air assembly that's coming from the reed valves what causes this to happen pickup goes into high idles when cold start

Most probably you have a faulty gasket under the carburetor. Engine is supposed to increase in rpm during cold starts but if it does not come down or takes forever to come down, there is a fault with the mechanism or vacuum controlling the fast idle system.
