little bit of water seeps out the overflow on first start in the morning

When I start my truck in the morning to idle and warm up a little, just a little bit of water seeps out the overflow. it only does this when it's first started, and sometimes not at all. Would i have a thermostat sticking because once the truck is warmed up no more seeping?

This sounds like the beginning of the blown head gasket. does the truck loose coolant? If so here is a guide to help confirm the issue:

no it does not lose any coolant when running, only the little bit when i first start it.

Okay, it sounds like the radiator cap is bad. I would replace it and see if it still happens. Please let me know.

When the coolant is seeping out can you try to squeeze the top radiator hose to see if the cooling system is pressurized?
