The truck turned off while driving and oil came on now truck won't start back up.

Engine shut off while driving, the oil light came on and it will not start

Hello,
Just so we cover the basics, have you checked and made sure that the oil is at the correct level. As if the engine has very little to no oil it will shut off.
Oil light can also come on for having low oil pressure, which could be due to bad oil pump.
So, when you try to start it, what does it do?
Does it crank or many any noise?
