Driving home my engine died. No big noises. I restarted it and as soon as I put it in gear it dies. Immediately. No laboring or trying to run, just dies. It idles/revs perfectly in P or N then dies instantly if you put it in gear. (If you just shift thru R to N it will stay on long enough to get into N) There is some fluid leaking from underneath the transmission. Hoping this is not a full trans rebuild.

Couldn't tell too much at night, but it didn't look burnt. The van is at a yard right now, but being towed back to me in a day or two, so I can check then.

When you get it, let me know what you find. If it is ATF, let me know an aprox area that it is coming from.
