Today's vehicles are extremely sensitive when it comes to voltage. If the alternator isn't producing, it can cause all kinds of crazy things.
So, how often does this happen? I ask because we need to check if the alternator is failing. To check, you will need a voltmeter or multimeter. It's really easy to do but should be done when the light is on.
